I'm riding a fixie for two years now. It all started when I got an old track-bike from grandpa. I always had a soft spot for vintage, so obviously I was excited to bring this bike back to live! As soon as I started to look for parts, I immediately came in tough with the fixed-gear community. A fixed-gear bicycle cannot coast, the pedals are always in motion when the bicycle is moving. This movement makes a special connection between rider and bike, a connection that you can only experience when riding a fixed-gear bike.

Now, with a small budget and not much of spare time, I finally managed to finish the UpHigh bike. Beware, this is not show-window item or gimmick, it's a real hard-core street-bike, build for every day usage! (for more details see technical info below or send me an e-mail) Frame: 1984 Gazelle (re-painted), Saddle: Brooks Honey B17S, Grips: Brooks Honey Leather Grips, Wheels: Aero deep (made in Belgium), Tires: Vittoria Zaffiro pro all-white, Spokes: 36, Hubs: Sansin (Japan), Dead Brake: Shimano 105, Gear Ratio: 46x16, Pedals: Union K369. The bike is sold.
